The Iranian Society of Intercultural Philosophy (ISIPH) (registration number 36512) acquiring authorization from the Commission of Iranian scientific associations, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology,has started its activities in areas related to culture-studies, philosophy of culture, intercultural philosophy since May, 2016. This society was established upon the suggestion of eleven professors and scholars in the realm of philosophy and humanities as the Board of Founders. The purpose of the establishment of this association is the expansion of academic and research activities in the field of philosophy and intercultural studies, drafting the principles of dialogue, and philosophical-theoretical studies in the field of culture and humanities.

The Wiener Gesellschaft für interkulturelle Philosophie (WiGiP) has existed since 1994. Its most notorious activity is the publication of polylog. Journal for intercultural philosophy (www.polylog.net). Furthermore, the Vienna Forum of Intercultural Philosophy has been working in cooperation with the GIP since 2016. The WiGiP also organizes conferences and maintains a working group (Interkulturelles Philosophieren: Theorie und Praxis) with about five appointments each semester (in Vienna).
